BAND BIO



FINGERS X'D was first formed back in the fall of 2010. They started out playing one genre of music but have grown over the past couple of years. New members have added to the rich sound with back up vocal abilities and they have added a guest singer, the beautiful Lady Lee. Orignal recorded music is played daily on 91x Loyalist Radio and they have been in the Top Indie 5 bands for the Quinte region.

FINGERS X'D play any genre of music to suit any venue. Everything from Country Rock / Classic Rock / Pop Rock / Alternative Rock and New Rock. FINGERS X'D are a hard working band that comes to entertain any age group of people and are willing to rock it out at any type of venue.

With their original music, FINGERS X'D have won the SuperNova battle of the bands 2010 in Kingston Ont and were awarded recording time. They also were chosen over 100's of bands to compete in RockQuest 2011 which was put on by The Wolf 101.5 fm.The band has been in the Top 5 Indie bands in Quinte on 91.3 Fm 91X Loyalist Radio with their song Said & Done.

Just recently they entered two original songs in the Post-Sugar Crisp's Competition "The First 15" and they did really well, placing 13th with JUST ME and 14th with HELD MY HEAD out of 100's of Entries. In 2012 they entered the HARD ROCK RISING Competition through The HARD ROCK CAFE and were in the TOP 20 bands in Canada in the Online Vote.

The band continues to mass network and play hard to audiences anywhere they can.
A FINGERS X'D show is a show filled with danceable music and great times.


MEET THE BAND

BRANDON WELLING -
Lead Vocals, Bass Guitar
Brandon has been singing and playing guitar almost his whole life. He has been in many bands over the years and accomplished many things musically. Brandon is a prolific song-writer which has won him and his band at the time, The Supernova Battle Of The Bands. This has enabled Brandon to record many of his original songs. He currently has over 24 songs out and as well won the Trenton Idol Singing Competition over the 2010 summer. He is very energetic and brings life to the stage every time. There is no doubt that Brandon Welling lives to entertain!

JUSTIN SMITHERS-
Drums
30 years old hailing from Belleville Ont., he plays a beautiful set of Gretsch drums and has drummed for Moira Darling, The Blanket Effect, Cure for The Infected, and Whiskey Breath. Before that he played guitar for Troy Thompson and The Kismet Culprits, Undecided, D.O.P.E. and briefly as a commission guitarist in Los Angeles.
His amazing talents behind the kit will for sure keep you on your feet..

DERRICK BECKFORD - 
Lead Guitar
Born into a life of music it was only a short time until Derrick found his calling. Picked up his first guitar at age 12, and has been playing ever since. Has been in many bands, and has toured many places including P.E.I, Boston, Cleveland, Nashville and Memphis. While in Cleveland Derrick got the opportunity to play on the stage at The Rock N' Roll Hall of Fame and in Nashville got to play at the Grand Ole Opry. But after 6 years of bands and touring, Derrick decided to take a short little break, and by chance got the opportunity to go to the school of his dreams. The Ontario Institute of Audio Recording Technology (OIART) in London ON, is one of the post respected and pristine audio schools in all of North America. While there, Derrick learned everything from, recording, production, sound for film, live sound and acoustics, just to name a few.
Dynamic and muti-talented he is the perfect additon to FINGERS X'D !

BOB HART -
Rhythm Guitar, Back-up vocals
No stranger to the stage Bob Hart has played and toured in a rising punk band out of Montreal called "Sofa King Addicted". His uniquie guitar sounds and experience on the mic are sure to be an asset and a perfect additon to FINGERS X'D !

SHANDA MOCHULLA - aka LADY LEE
Vocalist , tambourine
Shanda hasn't been singing that long but when you hear what she has to offer you are going to think she has been singing her whole life.Every show and venue she appears at they just can't seem to get enough of the beautiful and talented Lady Lee. She brings an amazing raw talent to the stage every time she sings..With sheer sexiness in her voice and her jaw dropping good looks its no wonder she's a big hit.
